This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on cryptoitdata.eu, for what purposes, and how you can control their use.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device when you visit a site. They allow the site to remember actions and preferences (language, login, etc.) within a session or across sessions.
2. Our approach
We operate with an absolute minimum of cookies. We use Plausible Analytics — a cookieless analytics solution, GDPR-compliant by design, hosted in the EU.
3. Cookies used
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
- NEXT_LOCALE — language preference (RO/EN). Duration: 1 year.
- __cfduid / __cf_bm (if Cloudflare is used) — security and abuse prevention. Duration: session.
3.2 Analytics cookies
Plausible Analytics doesn't use cookies. It records anonymous events (visits, traffic sources) using only the visitor's IP address, which is immediately hashed and not stored.
3.3 Marketing cookies
We don't use marketing, retargeting or behavioural profiling cookies.
4. Third-party cookies
If you book a consultation through Cal.com, the Cal.com embed may set cookies necessary for calendar functionality. See Cal.com's policy for details: cal.com/privacy.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. See your browser's documentation:
Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality (e.g., won't remember selected language).
6. Changes
We will update this policy when introducing new technologies. The current version is always available here, with the last update date.
